How to import trades from MetaTrader 5/MT5 into Denik

This guide will walk you through the process of importing your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading history into Denik trading journal

Before you can import your trading data into Denik, you'll need to export it from MetaTrader 5 in HTML format:

1. Open the Toolbox in MT5:

   • Launch your MetaTrader 5 platform

   • Look for the 'Toolbox' window at the bottom of the interface

   • Press Ctrl+T if the Toolbox is not visible

2. Access Your Trading History:

   • In the Toolbox, click on the "History" tab

   • Right-click within the History tab area

   • You can filter by time period if needed (All History, Last 3 Months, Last Month, or Custom Period)

3. Export in HTML Format:

   • Right-click again in the History tab

   • Select "Report" then "HTML (Internet Explorer)" from the dropdown menu

   • Choose a location on your computer to save the file

   • Give the file a recognizable name and click "Save"
